There are mornings where I have to wake up really early for work and at that time, it’s too early for making breakfast. I am a person who needs food in the morning, especially working in a fitness studio where I teach classes in the mornings. My energy needs to be on top. Overnight oat is great for those morning. Preparing my breakfast the night before means I get a good start to the next day and saves me time.
Ingredients
50g x oat
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 – 3/4 cup of almond milk (or any milk by choice)
½ x apple
Cinnamon
Directions
Chop up the apples into small dices and put in a pot with coconut oil. Have it on low heat and cook until the apples are soft, then add cinnamon. Put to the side to cool down before you store them in the fridge. In a jar, place the oat, chia seeds and cinnamon. Mix it around. Poor your milk over the dry ingredients and mix it all together. Place your apples on top of your oat mix and store in the fridge overnight. Simple as that! You can also add some nut butter in the morning to make it even more yummy. Tips: if you prefer your apples to have a more bit to them, add them in the morning instead. Enjoy!
